François Mikulski is a native of Meursault. He trained as a winemaker with his uncle Pierre Boillot, before setting up his own domaine in 1992. François Mikulski's approach is to rediscover the authenticity and elegance of Burgundy wines. He takes particular care with his vines, harvesting them at perfect ripeness. Domaine François Mikulski wines also represent contemporary Burgundy. The domaine is farmed organically, but without certification.

Domaine François Mikulski is located in Meursault, Burgundy. The complexity of the vineyard's soils ensures the aromatic richness of its wines. The domaine produces wine from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Aligoté grapes. Some of the estate's vines are over a hundred years old. In the Meursault AOC, Domaine François Mikulski cultivates vines in various climats: Limozin, Meix Chavaux, Chaumes de Narvaux, etc. It includes four parcels of vines in the Meursault appellation. It includes four Premier Cru parcels.

Domaine François Mikulski produces white and red Burgundy wines from twelve different appellations. The wines are vinified naturally, and aged in barrels with very little new wood. Vintage after vintage, the aromatic richness of Domaine François Mikulski wines captures the minerality of the Meursault terroir.

The domaine's four Meursault Premiers Crus are : Genevrières, Poruzots, Charmes and Goutte d'Or. The Meursault Village appellation includes : Meursault Les Tillets, Meursault Limozin, Meursault Le Pré de Manche and Meursault Meix Chavaux. In white wine, Domaine François Mikulski also produces Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Côte d'Or, Crémant de Bourgogne and Saint-Aubin. Domaine François Mikulski's red wines are not to be outdone. The appellations Bourgogne Côte d'Or, Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru Les Vercots, Volnay Premier Cru Santenots du Milieu, Monthélie and Pommard are represented. Meursault Caillerets is one of the few red Meursault wines. It has great finesse on the palate.
