The Château of Meursault is one of the largest domains in Burgundy, literally and figuratively. It is in the 11th century that its history begins under the name of fief of the Moulin Foulot. It will pass from hand to hand over the centuries. In 2012, the Château of Meursault became the property of the Halley family. The vines of this huge estate are entirely harvested by hand. It is then Emmanuel Escutenaire, cellar master, who presides over the vinification and maturation of the wines. Each parcel is pressed, vinified and aged separately. The vineyard is cultivated in a sustainable manner, which has earned it the High Environmental Value label.

Geographical location of Château of Meursault

The Château of Meursault includes 65 hectares in Côte de Beaune. The vines are spread over more than 110 parcels, from Aloxe-Corton to Puligny-Montrachet. But also in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay and, of course, Meursault. The vineyard of the domain, planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, produces equal parts white and red wine. There are exceptional terroirs such as Les Charmes Dessus, Perrières, Charmes, Les Maréchaudes or Champ Gain and Champ Canet. Not forgetting the Clos Grands Charrons en Monopole.
