Originally from the Vosges, Nicolas Morin began his career as a cooper in the Bordeaux region. Fascinated by the world of wine, he took up a career in viticulture. He worked as a vineyard manager in Côtes de Nuits. He then worked as a cellar master in the Bordeaux region. He even went on to manage wineries in Australia and South Africa. Building on these experiences, he created Maison Nicolas Morin in Nuits-Saint-Georges in 2014. Now a wine merchant, he cultivates his love of Burgundy wines. In 2019, he took over three hectares of vineyards in Mâlin. His passion is organic farming, of which he says: "For me, it's the future. I don't want to harm either the soil or the people. It's about respecting the terroir.
