Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay symbolizes the link. First and foremost, it is a continuity woven between 5 generations of Burgundy winegrowers. The Coffinet family has been working the estate's vines since 1860. Laura Coffinet and her husband Philippe Duvernay created their domaine on half of the family estate in 1989.

Their philosophy is to maintain a special relationship with the vines on a day-to-day basis. The unique expression of their wines is born of this genuine accompaniment. Their son Bastien joined the domaine in 2012. He contributes to the pursuit of reasoned vine-growing : connecting with the land and the family tradition!

Location of Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay

The Coffinet-Duvernay family estate is rooted in Chassagne-Montrachet. This is one of the most prestigious villages on the Côte de Beaune. The king grape variety of this white wine region is Chardonnay. The domaine owns 3 hectares of it in the Village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru appellations. But Laura Coffinet and Philippe Duvernay also produce a red Burgundy from Pinot Noir.

The vines of Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay are planted on the Chassagne-Montrachet hillside. The marl and limestone soils nurture the various Premier Cru climats with nuance. Situated between 200 and 300 meters above sea level, the vines are ideally exposed to the South or South-East.
