Valérie and Philippe Jeannot created the domaine that bears their name in 1999, starting with a few parcels of vines. Gradually, the Domaine Jeannot, located in Meursault, south of Beaune in Burgundy, expanded. The Jeannot family bought vineyard plots to extend the estate and develop its production of white and red Burgundy wines. Today, they own 11 hectares. Their son, Quentin, joined them in 2014 after completing his viticultural training. He is committed to promoting Domaine Jeannot wines internationally.

Geographical location of Domaine Jeannot

Domaine Jeannot covers 11 hectares along the Côte de Beaune, in the communes of Meursault, Pommard and Santenay, as well as in the Maranges appellation terroirs. The clay-limestone and marl soils are ideal for producing great Burgundy wines.

Valérie, Philippe and Quentin cultivate their vines according to the principles of organic farming, although without certification, and take great care to limit yields on their estate. They use mechanical weeding, green harvesting and leaf thinning. They are keen to optimize the maturity and quality of the grapes to create wines with great gustatory qualities. The domaine produces Burgundy wines under 20 different appellations. Part of the vinification comes from external grape purchases.
