Matías Riccitelli produces white, red and rosé wines in northern Patagonia. He set up his own winery in 2009, in the heart of Argentina, after participating in grape harvests around the world. His passion for wine comes from his father, a talented Argentine winemaker. His sister, Veronica Riccitelli, plays an active role in the success of this Mendoza estate as a brand ambassador. On his Argentine terroirs, Matías Riccitelli grows vines of Malbec, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Bonarda, Torrontés, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.

Geographical location of Domaine Matías Riccitelli

Domaine Matías Riccitelli is located in Argentina, on the banks of the Mendoza River and at the foot of the Andes. It is divided between the terroirs of Vistalba, Perdriel and La Consulta. The vines benefit from a continental climate at an altitude of around 1,000 m. The vines are between 40 and 90 years old, most having been planted in the early 20th century. Thanks to the climate and the varied nature of the soils, Matías Riccitelli obtains fruit rich in aroma. He then goes on to produce top-quality red, white and rosé wines.

Domaine Matías Riccitelli wines

Domaine Matías Riccitelli produces several cuvées, each with its own identity and personality. These include cuvées made from old vines such as Trousseau and Chenin Blanc. As these cuvées demonstrate, Matías goes beyond the beaten track and cultivates grape varieties that others in Argentina rarely grow, in order to enhance their value.
