GARAUDET FLORENT

Winegrowers from father to son, Florent Garaudet is the 5th generation to share his passion for wine. He founded his own estate in 2008, quite distinct from that of his father Paul Garaudet. All of them are close friends, sharing good advice both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Domaine Florent Garaudet covers 3 hectares in the lovely appellations of Monthelie, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.

This young winemaker is not afraid of a challenge! He works alone, from vine to cellar, with an obsessive vision of quality (yield control, hand-picking at full maturity, natural fermentation, long barrel ageing, integrated viticulture) and novelty. Indeed, Florent likes to experiment for his friends and his own curiosity: late harvests on aligoté and chardonnay, pinot noir mutated on grain, passerillage...! He has no shortage of imagination!

Florent's ambition is to produce fine wines, some of which lend themselves particularly well to ageing: dense, brilliant, with superb ripeness of fruit. His whites will seduce you with their richness and complexity, supported by a beautiful freshness. The reds are fine and well-structured. We're delighted to recommend our famous Le Mons Helios cuvée, made from a selection of Monthelie Pinot Noir grapes. An intense, gourmet nectar with silky tannins that will gain in complexity with a few years in the cellar!
