PERRIER JOSEPH

This family Champagne house has been in existence for 6 generations, and Benjamin Fourmon, the current Managing Director, is its representative. It's worth noting that this is one of the few Champagne houses to remain on the premises where the adventure began in 1825... and what a beginning it was! Its founder, Joseph Perrier, simply dug into the hillside to reach ancient Gallo-Roman cellars, and thus endowed his House with cellars stretching over 3 kilometers. In these "crayères", a veritable living organism with its own breath, the champagnes are left to mature to their optimum. It's hardly surprising, then, that Joseph Perrier's love of craftsmanship and consistency in the transmission of know-how is part of its DNA!
