Geographical location of Domaine CHAVY-CHOUET
The 15 hectares of Domaine Chavy-Chouet are located on some of the finest terroirs in the region. Parcels range from Pommard to Saint-Aubin, via Volnay, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. Prestigious names such as Les Champs-Gain, Les Folatières and Les Chanlins are among them. The vines are planted in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with the exception of one plot in Aligoté. With a solid team in place, Romaric Chavy has been able to bring out the very essence of each appellation. From the vine to the bottle, he perfectly combines Burgundy tradition with the audacity of the younger generation.
Domaine CHAVY-CHOUET wines
Domaine Chavy-Chouet produces 14 white and red appellations, 6 of which are rated Premier Cru. These include Les Champs-Gains and Les Folatières in Puligny-Montrachet. In Meursault, we find Les Charmes and Les Genevrières. And last but not least, white wines include Les Murgers des Dents de Chien in Saint-Aubin. Pommard Les Chanlins is also a Premier Cru red. Also noteworthy is Meursault Clos des Corvées de Citeau "Monopole". A bottle of Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blanc completes our non-exhaustive list. Every vintage is full of promise, and Romaric Chavy deserves to be followed closely.
