Domaine Tupinier-Bautista produces Burgundy wines in the heart of the beautiful Mercurey terroir. Established since 1770 in the hamlet of Les Touches, the family business passed into the hands of Manu Bautista in 1997. Keen to preserve the know-how of his father-in-law Jacques Tupinier, Manu works with passion. To make each cuvée a success, he respects the needs of both fruit and vines. The fruit must reach optimum ripeness before being harvested by hand. The grapes are rigorously selected by hand. They are then pressed, vinified and aged in oak barrels…

Geographical location of Domaine Tupinier-Bautista

Surrounding the hamlet of Les Touches, Domaine Tupinier-Bautista boasts an 11-hectare vineyard. The vines are located in the commune of Mercurey, a terroir in the heart of Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise region. The vineyard includes Chardonnay vines for the white wine and Pinot Noir vines for the red wine. In addition to parcels in the Mercurey appellation, Manu Bautista also benefits from Premier Cru parcels. The domaine includes vines in the following climats: Sazenay, Clos du Roy and Les Vellées.

Mercurey offers great Burgundy wines. Domaine Tupinier-Bautista offers a selection of white and red wines, all from this terroir. Manu Bautista produces Pinot Noir in the Village appellation. Two cuvées are available: Victoria and Vieilles Vignes, but also quality Premiers Crus. These include En Sazenay, Les Vellées and Clos du Roy. The domaine also has a bottle of Pinot Noir in the regional appellation. The domaine also produces white wines in the Mercurey and Mercurey Premier Cru appellations. For the Premiers Crus, we once again offer cuvées en Sazenay and Les Vellées. Cuvée Marie Christine completes the wine selection.
