Domaine wines
The wines produced here respect Jura tradition, with a touch of innovation. Domaine Bourdy wines include Crémant du Jura, Côtes-du-Jura, Château-Chalon and Arbois. Domaine Jean Bourdy is particularly renowned for its Château-Chalon, a benchmark in the appellation, produced from Savagnin grapes and with exceptional ageing potential of up to 50 or 60 years. On the red side, Côtes-du-Jura wines are made from a blend of Pinot Noir, Trousseau and Poulsard, using indigenous yeasts and aged for 2 years in old oak barrels. White Côtes-du-Jura are made from a single grape variety: Chardonnay or Savagnin.
