Location of the Château de la Tour estate
Château de la Tour is located in Vougeot. Vougeot is a small village in the Côte d'Or. This region of Burgundy is famous throughout France for the quality of its vines. Built in 1890, Château de la Tour stands on an exceptional estate. The old vines of Clos de Vougeot have been worked by monks for centuries. The Labet and Déchelette families have shared this land since the 15th century. The Château de la Tour estate is therefore first and foremost a family estate. In addition to the quality of the region's vines, François Labet proudly perpetuates a long tradition.
Château de la tour estate wines
The wines offered by the Château de la Tour estate are as simple as they are exceptional. François Labet works closely with oenologist Sylvain Pataille to produce a first-rate cuvée Vieilles Vignes. To preserve this ancestral estate, Château de la Tour wine production has been certified organic since 1992. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the wine is aged in new oak barrels. The care taken with Château de la Tour's vintages has made this red wine popular the world over.
