The wines of Maison Bouchard Aîné & Fils
The vines selected by Maison Bouchard Aîné & Fils are grown using sustainable agriculture methods. Yields are controlled to guarantee wine quality. The white wines, Chardonnay and Aligoté, are pressed in whole bunches. They are aged for between 6 and 10 months. Red wines, made from Pinot Noir, are entirely destemmed. They are aged for between 12 and 18 months. Depending on the appellation, between 15% and 40% new barrels are used for each vintage.
Bouchard Aîné & Fils wines are too numerous to mention here. Red wines include Grands Crus Corton Perrières, Clos de Vougeot and Charmes-Chambertin. Premier Cru wines include Savigny-Lès-Beaune Jarrons, Beaune Les Marconnets and Nuis-Saint-Georges Clos des Corvées.
