Geographical location of Maison Jean-Baptiste Jessiaume
Jean-Baptiste Jessiaume vinifies his cuvées in Santenay. Although he is attached to this terroir, he benefits from parcels of vines scattered throughout Burgundy, more specifically in the Côte de Beaune and Côte Châlonnaise. He harvests Pinot Noir for his red wine, and Chardonnay and Aligoté for his white. In addition to Santenay vines, Jean-Baptiste Jessiaume obtains fruit from Chassagne-Montrachet, Rully, Volnay, Pommard and Meursault. He even benefits from harvests from Grand Cru appellation plots in Corton and Clos de Vougeot.
