Domaine Lignier-Michelot has been producing red wines in Burgundy for three generations. Virgile and Laure Lignier perpetuate the family history at Morey-Saint-Denis. Geographical location of Domaine Lignier-Michelot

Ideally located on the route des Grands Crus, Domaine Lignier-Michelot is established in Morey-Saint-Denis. Laure and Virgile Lignier own some sixty parcels spread over 12 hectares. Their vineyards benefit from excellent climates in several Côte de Nuits villages. Vines can be found in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Fixin, Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin. These different terroirs enable Virgile and Laure Lignier to vinify numerous Pinot Noir cuvées. From the Burgundy appellation to the prestigious Grands Crus, the domaine's vines promiseexcellent red wine vintages.

Domaine Lignier-Michelot wines

As a red wine producer, Domaine Lignier-Michelot offers a long list of wines. These include theGrands Crus Clos Saint-Denis, Clos de la Roche and Charmes-Chambertin. The Premiers Crus of Morey-Saint-Denis are also featured: Aux Cheseaux, Aux Charmes, Les Faconnières, Les Chenevery and Les Genavrières. This is also the case for Premier Cru Fixin. The Premiers Crus of Nuits-Saint-Georges include Richemones and Cuvée Jules. The domaine also produces one red wine in the Bourgogne appellation and four wines in the Village appellation. These include a Chambolle-Musigny, two Morey-Saint-Denis (En la Rue de Vergy and Vieilles Vignes) and a Gevrey-Chambertin (cuvée Bertin). For wine lovers, Domaine Lignier-Michelot also offers a white wine: Cuvée Axelle.
