Domaine Mee Godard is run by Mee, a talented winemaker with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge! Keen to understand wine and how to extract the best from a terroir, she has worked in a number of wine-related professions, honing her technical skills. And then, one day, she found an estate whose owner was retiring, without a buyer. Just as well, the estate was in the Beaujolais region, and Mee fell in love with it! She acquired 5 hectares in Morgon and one hectare in Moulin-à-Vent. With unfailing courage, Mee wants to do what she believes is best for her vines, without preaching or being dogmatic: she's close to organic, tirelessly pruning her 65-year-old vines because she doesn't want trellising, for example.
