LEROY DOMAINE

Domaine Leroy was founded in 1868 by François Leroy. Already the owner of vineyards in Burgundy at Chambertin, Pommard, Richebourg and Clos de Vougeot, he wanted to expand his vineyard. Thanks to his son Joseph Leroy and Henri Leroy, the estate grew and won numerous awards. In 1942, the winegrower bought half of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The latter had been up for sale since the crisis of the 1920s.

Lalou Bize-Leroy is a worthy heir to the name and professionalism of her winegrowing ancestors. She became CEO of Maison Leroy in 1955. Here, she perpetuates the tradition of great Burgundy wines on the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Today, Lalou Bize-Leroy offers France and the world rare and prized wines.
