A family business for five generations, Domaine Comte Senard produces white and red Burgundy wines. On the Côte de Beaune, Philippe Senard vinifies quality fruit to create aromatic, complex wines. Lorraine Senard, Philippe's daughter, joined the domaine in 2005. Her aim is to preserve the spirit of the great Corton wines. She works with respect for the terroir and traditions of her ancestors. Domaine Comte Senard also holds the monopoly on Clos des Meix, a Corton Grand Cru created by Jules Senard in 1857.

Geographical location of Domaine Comte Senard

Domaine Comte Senard is located in the heart of Aloxe-Corton. Ideally situated on the Côte de Beaune, this village is renowned for its Burgundy Grands Crus. The Senard family manages around ten hectares of vines. The plots are planted with Pinot Noir for the red wine and Chardonnay for the white. The vines are spread over Aloxe-Corton, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Auxey-Duresses, Meursault and Pernand-Vergelesses. The estate boasts prestigious climats such as Corton-Charlemagne, Les Bressandes and Clos du Roi. Domaine Comte Senard's Clos des Meix parcel alone represents 2.5 hectares.

Domaine Comte Senard wines
