Domaine Finca Villacreces was founded in 2007. Rich in history, Villacreces was once a retreat for Franciscan monks. Privately owned in 1836, it became the second home of the Cuadrado family in the early 20th century. Gonzalo and Lalo Antón discovered the site in 2004. The Antón brothers already owned vineyards in northern and eastern Spain. Pedro Cuadrado decided to leave his vineyards to Gonzalo and Lalo, who then became owners of one of the finest vineyards in Spain's Ribera del Duero region.

Geographical location of the estate

The Finca Villacreces estate enjoys a unique environment, at an altitude of 700 meters. It is surrounded by the Ribera del Duero and a centuries-old pine forest, which protects the estate from the extreme temperature variations associated with the climate.
