Domaine du Monteillet, incarnated by Stéphane Montez, covers 24 hectares and three prestigious Northern Rhône appellations: Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie and Saint-Joseph. Stephane succeeds his father, Antoine Montez, and in addition to his family's know-how, he gains experience working in other vineyards around the world: England, Australia, California and South Africa

We had the pleasure of counting Stéphane Montez among us during a memorable tasting evening at Caves Carrière! The wines are just like him: vibrant, gourmet, alive! We take great pleasure in sharing the fruits of his labor, and warmly recommend discovering (or rediscovering) his Saint-Joseph Cuvée du Papy! This cuvée has been produced since 1989, the year Stéphane's father Antoine became a grandfather for the first time! He chooses his best hillsides, his most beautiful vines and grapes, selects his best barrels and puts all his love and know-how into making a remarkable cuvée: La Cuvée du Papy. A parcel-by-parcel selection from old Syrah vines on granite slopes, it's a gourmet gem!
