The Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils is an institution of Burgundy wines. Founded in 1731, the domain occupies the château of Beaune. With 130 hectares of vines, it has the largest vineyard in the Côte d'Or. The collection of appellations of Bouchard Père et Fils is one of the most impressive in Burgundy. In addition to its Villages and Burgundy appellations, the estate produces 12 Grands Crus and 74 Premiers Crus.

The 450 plots of land of the Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils are scattered all over Côte d'Or. The historical heart of the domain is located in Volnay and Beaune. The domain also owns vines in Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Pommard. In Côte de Nuits, the vines of the domain are found in Gevrey-Chambertin.
The wines of Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils
The vines of the Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils, essentially Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, are cultivated in integrated agriculture. Whatever the appellation, the vines are harvested by hand. Each wine is vinified and aged in the estate's own winery in Savigny-lès-Beaune. Each wine is worked on with great care, according to the specificities of its parcel and its vintage. After bottling, the wines are aged in the cellars of the château of Beaune.
The Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils produces eight red wines classified as Grands Crus. We find the Grands Crus Bonnes-Mares, Corton, Clos-Vougeot and Échezeaux. Alongside them are the Grands Crus Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin and Chambertin-Clos-de-Bèze. The house also offers four white Grands Crus: Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne.
The Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils offers many Premiers Crus. In red, we find Premiers Crus in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Pommard, Monthélie or Volnay. In white Premier Cru, the domain proposes many Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.
