Domaine Mee Godard is run by Mee, a talented winemaker with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge! Keen to understand wine and how to extract the best from a terroir, she has worked in a number of wine-related professions, honing her technical skills. And then, one day, she found an estate whose owner was retiring, without a buyer. Just as well, the estate was in the Beaujolais region, and Mee fell in love with it! She acquired 5 hectares in Morgon and one hectare in Moulin-à-Vent. With unfailing courage, Mee wants to do what she believes is best for her vines, without preaching or being dogmatic: she's close to organic, tirelessly pruning her 65-year-old vines because she doesn't want trellising, for example. There are so many hours of work on these vines that it's hard to estimate. Are the results up to scratch? Yes, a thousand times yes! Complex, racy, textured, sublime Beaujolais.
