Domaine Campinuovi was founded in 2000 by Nadia Riguccini and Daniele Rosselini. The two winemakers set up their estate in the Tuscan region, near Montalcino in Italy. Daniele Rosselini is a wine specialist and native of Tuscany. Nadia Riguccini brings her knowledge of the land. The intention of the owners of Domaine Campinuovi is to produce authentic wines, linking the region's distinctive terroir with the work of man. The estate is farmed organically and biodynamically.

Geographical location of Domaine Campinuovi

Domaine Campinuovi is located in the commune of Cinigiano, in southwestern Tuscany, Italy. It comprises 25 hectares, including 9 hectares of vines on the slopes of Mount Amiata. The vineyard lies between 350 and 450 meters above sea level. Here, Tuscan soil can be composed of alluvium, sandstone, limestone and shale. This variability of soils, combined with microclimates influenced by sea and mountain, produces aromatically rich wines with ageing potential. The main grape variety grown is Sangiovese. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, originally from the Bordeaux region of France, are also grown.
