Vincent Dancer is a talented Burgundy winemaker. With an engineering degree in hand, he took over the family vineyard in 1996. He replanted his vines at high density using organic methods. After 7 years of tasting and experimentation, he launched his white wines under his own label. He then expanded his range with fine red wines. A proponent of a living wine, he creates whites and reds whose signature is finesse and density on the palate. Domaine Dancer Vincent's Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée and Meursault Perrières are now essential Burgundy wines.

Geographical location of Domaine Vincent Dancer

The Vincent Dancer estate covers six hectares. It is part of the Côte de Beaune wine-growing region. Four hectares of the estate are devoted to white Burgundy wines. The remaining parcels are reserved for Côte de Beaune red wines. Located in the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Beaune, the vineyards of Domaine Vincent Dancer are planted on limestone and marl soils. They benefit from an oceanic, semi-continental climate. The southeast exposure of the domaine's vines favors their growth and contributes to the creation of great red and white wines.

Vincent Dancer estate wines

Domaine Vincent Dancer wines are elegant and well-balanced. The white wines are made from the Chardonnay grape. They can be recognized by their yellow color with green highlights. Their floral nose and mineral character are typical of Burgundy white wines. This grape variety is used to produce such famous appellations as Le Chevalier-Montrachet grand cru, Chassagne-Montrachet premier cru La Romanée or Morgeot Tête du Clos, Meursault premier cru Les Perrières, Meursault Les Corbins or Les Grands Charrons. The pinot noir grape produces red wines with a fruity mouthfeel and a nose of blackberries and blueberries. Chassagne-Montrachet premier cru La Grande Borne, Pommard premier cru Les Pézerolles and Beaune premier cru Les Montrevenots are illustrious examples.
