Located 35 kilometers from Bordeaux in the Sauternes and Barsac appellations, not far from Châteaux Climens and Coutet, Château Doisy-Védrine is the largest of the three Barsac châteaux with "Doisy" in the name. The château was actually subdivided into 3 after its purchase by the Castéja family in 1846. In addition to Doisy-Védrines, we find Château Doisy-Dubroca and Château Doisy-Daëne. Location of Château Doisy-Védrines

With a surface area of 27 ha, Château Doisy-Védrines has been headed by Olivier Castéja since 2001, who has not lacked for innovation in order to offer enthusiasts a superior and unrivalled quality of wine. The average age of the vines is 35 years, with a density of 6,500 vines per hectare. The estate produces around 40,000 bottles a year.
