The Gros Frère et Sœur estate has existed for several generations. In 1984, Bernard Gros took over the management of the wine estate located in the heart of the Burgundy. Passionate about the Grands Crus of Burgundy, he decided to uproot the poor quality vines and replace them with clones. The harvest of the Gros Frère et Sœur estate is done exclusively by hand. Through his wines of Burgundy, Bernard Gros perpetuates the work of Gustave and the Gros family.

Geographical location of the Gros Frère et Sœur estate

The Domaine Gros Frère et Sœur is located in Vosne-Romanée in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard of 20 hectares extends over parcels of different qualities. Four parcels are Grands Crus of Burgundy like Richerbourg, Échezeaux, Grands-Échezeaux and the Clos de Vougeot. The Domaine Gros Frère et Sœur grows in Concœur-et-Corboin. The soils are composed of marl and limestone. The climate, very favorable, alternates hot summers and autumns without frost.
