CHÂTEAU BRANE-CANTENAC

Brane-Cantenac is a very old estate in theMargaux appellation. Baron de Brane's wines have been renowned throughout the Médoc for centuries. The Lurton family has managed Château Brane-Cantenac for three generations. François Lurton had to sell part of his shareholding in Château Margaux. In 1954, he bequeathed Château Brane-Cantenac to Lucien Lurton, his second son. In 1192, Henri took over the estate. He brought all his expertise as an oenologist to bear, while respecting his family's philosophy. This Margaux appellation is a second Grand Cru classé B.

Château Brane-Cantenac is located on the Brane plateau. This red wine benefits from a 75-hectare vineyard in the commune of Cantenac, Gironde.
