AMIOT-SERVELLE

Covering almost 20 kilometers, the Côte de Nuits is home to more than one exceptional appellation. Some call it the "Champs-Élysées of Burgundy". Among Burgundy wineproducers, Domaine Amiot-Servelle is an intimate winery. Its terroir, located in Chambolle-Musigny, owes its fame to the Cistercian monks. In 1920, Clément Tachot began cultivating a few vines in the village. His son-in-law created Domaine Servelle-Tachot in 1950. The vineyard remained in the family and became Domaine Amiot-Servelle in 1989.

Domaine Amiot-Servelle enjoys a privileged geographical location. Its main vineyard extends over 7 hectares in the commune of Chambolle-Musigny. As the vines are planted on either side of a combe, the exposure is ideal for growing Pinot Noir. The east-facing slope is characterized by a fissured limestone terroir, enabling the roots to draw water from deep underground. The specific characteristics of this soil contribute to the great finesse of our wines.

Domaine Servelle-Tachot began producing wine without weedkillers at a very early stage. 2008 marked a turning point in the history of the estate with the organic certification of its wines. This shift towards more responsible viticulture was accentuated in 2020 by the introduction of phytotherapy in the vineyard. At Domaine Amiot-Servelle, every wine is produced with respect for the soil and the vines.

Domaine Amiot-Servelle wines

Domaine Amiot-Servelle is located in two appellations d'origine contrôlée: Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. The estate produces several Premiers Crus Chambolle-Musigny: Les Charmes, Les Amoureuses, Les Feusselottes, Les Plantes, Les Fuées and Derrière-la-Grange. In this cradle of red wine, the domaine makes an exception with an excellent white wine: a Bourgogne Chardonnay.

Since 2010, around 1 hectare of vines has been added to the estate. The vineyard planted in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis produces the emblematic Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru. The parcel in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin produces the legendary Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru.
