BAIN ALEXANDRE

Created in 2007, the Domaine d'Alexandre Bain covers 11 hectares in the commune of Tracy-sur-Loire. Although not the son of a winegrower, Alexandre Bain's prowess confirms the adage that "to the well-born, value does not await the number of years". After completing his studies at the Lycée de Beaune, Alexandre took part in various internships with organic, natural and biodynamic winegrowers.

Certified biodynamic today, Alexandre Bain's work is remarkable. Initially, it was a 5-hectare estate dedicated to biodynamic and organic farming. He cares for his land and vines with the help of nature and his horse Phénomène. His vineyard is one of the few where the use of natural methods is a point of honor. Indeed, the grapes are harvested only when they are perfectly ripe, giving the Sauvignon a boxwood aroma with a more acidic side that enhances the wine's minerality.
