Flacons Confidentiels - Domaine Gonon

This estate in Mauves reaches a level of excellence that few domaines can claim within the Saint-Joseph appellation, both in red and white wines. It must be said that the two brothers, Pierre and Jean Gonon, are highly skilled growers and winemakers. Their exemplary hillside viticulture (organically farmed) produces powerful wines with intense, unadulterated flavors, expressing the purest essence of northern Syrah, as well as Roussanne and Marsanne from massal selections of old vines. The whites (Les Oliviers) are incredibly aromatic and, moreover, have remarkable aging potential.
