Flacons Confidentiels - Bonneau du Martray

Located in Burgundy, the millenary vineyard Bonneau du Martray has existed since the Carolingian era. The emperor Charlemagne knew how to use this terroir to produce an exceptional wine. Marie-Eugénie Verry, whose father Simon Verry owned the estate, married Charles Bonneau du Martray in 1835. She received 24 hectares of vineyards as dowry. The estate was thus passed on from father to son until the arrival of Jean Le Bault de la Morinière in 1969. It is Jean who has developed the reputation of these wines in France and internationally. Jean Charles, Jean’s son, joined his father and converted the domain to organic farming in 1997. He launched his first biodynamic trials in 2004.

Domaine Bonneau du Martray is located in Burgundy on the hill of Corton, a few kilometers from Beaune. Having noticed that the climate on the hill of Corton was milder, the emperor Charlemagne decided to plant his vines there. At almost 300 metres above sea level, the area has three types of microclimates. It also benefits from a great wealth of soils. Its legendary 11 hectares of vineyards in the Côte de Beaune give birth to rare wines, both white and red. These are the names Corton-Charlemagne and Corton.

Domaine Henri Richard producerer tre forskellige hvide vine. Den første er en <stærk> Côte de Nuits-Villages Blanc . Det har det særlige ved kun at blive produceret fra Pinot Blanc. Denne vin ledsages af en Aligoté Bourgogne og en Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc.
