MUGNIER JACQUES-FREDERIC

In the heart of the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier produces some of Burgundy's most renowned red wines. Founded in 1863 in Chambolle-Musigny, the vineyard has always remained in the Mugnier family. Careful tending of the vines, mainly by hand, results in wines of great purity. Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier is located in Chambolle-Musigny, Côte-d'Or. The estate's vineyards cover a total area of 14 hectares. The parcels are divided between Chambolle-Musigny and Prémeaux-Prissey, in the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation. In this commune, the vines belong to a single climat, Clos de la Maréchale. The estate's vines are Pinot Noir, except for one hectare of Chardonnay in Nuits-Saint-Georges.
