ENTE BENOIT

In 1990, Benoît Ente began working with Burgundy wines with his aunt on his grandparents' estate. In 1997, with 3 hectares of vines inherited from his grandfather,he took off and created Domaine Benoît Ente. In 2013, he took over his aunt's vineyards, bringing the estate to its current 6 hectares. The Domaine Benoît Ente vineyard is planted with Chardonnay, Aligoté and Pinot Noir grapes. Benoît Ente has chosen to practice sustainable viticulture, with no weedkillers or chemical fertilizers. Working the soil, pruning to suit the grape variety, controlling yields - nothing is left to chance. Right through to bottling, including the choice of corks, every detail counts. And it's in the details that a great wine is born.

Geographical location of Domaine Benoît Ente

Domaine Benoît Ente is located in Puligny-Montrachet, with the exception of a small incursion into the neighboring commune of Chassagne-Montrachet. It comprises some twenty parcels, some of them on highly sought-after terroirs. These include Folatières, Champs Gains and the prestigious Clos de la Truffière appellation, the pride of Domaine Benoît Ente. All appellations are harvested by hand. Small openwork crates hold the grapes to preserve their integrity until pressing.
