Geographical location of the Domaine Henri Richard

The wines of Domaine Henri Richard

The Domaine Henri Richard cultivates its vines in biodynamic farming. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in whole bunches. The fermentation is natural. The wine is aged for 18 months for Gevrey-Chambertin and 12 months for the other appellations.

In red wine, the Domaine Henri Richard distinguishes itself by two wines of great reputation: Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru and Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru. These long-keeping wines are among the greatest red wines of Burgundy. Still in the terroir of Gevrey-Chambertin, the domain proposes two other appellations of great quality. They are Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Corvées and Gevrey-Chambertin Les Tuileries. The range of red wines of the domain is completed by a Marsannay En Larrey and a Coteaux-Bourguignons Corvée de l'Église.

On the white wine side, Domaine Henri Richard produces three different wines. The first one is a Côte de Nuits-Villages White. It has the particularity to be produced only from Pinot Blanc. This wine is accompanied by a Bourgogne Aligoté and a Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc.
